How much length do you need, yoke to yoke? Stock shafts will wobble if they are stretched too far

The 2 shafts I have are not over extended, they are just worn. Both have almost 200k on them. The collapsed length of the shaft from yoke ear to cv u joint cap is 32". The shaft fits perfect but has play at the yoke , causing some front end vibration.
