Spare Shaft Options?? 30 Spline

I have nice 30 spline chromo shafts in my D30. Which is great, but it means I can't use stock shafts as spares.

Short of buying a whole second set, what are my options for spare shafts?

Does anyone make inexpensive non-chromo 30 spline shafts? I can't imagine why they would.

I'm not sure if they are the same or not, but rubicon Dana 44 from a TJ uses 30 spline inner shafts.

Rubicon 44 are basically a glorified d30 with a 44 housing. So I bet the shafts are able to fit in

Yeah, check the lengths and seal position+diameter, I bet they'll work.

Failing that, you could consider carrying spare spider+side gears for a 27 spline setup, but that'd be cumbersome to change out.

You're insane. Normal people don't think like that.

I figured if you were running a locker it'd be a pain in the ass since you'd have to swap the locker or even carrier, but hey, it sure beats buying a second set of ultra expensive shafts... :gee:
