spring under on an XJ?

Yeah, Most leaf sprung desert rigs, with the exception Jeepspeed run spring under. It allows a softer spring rate to get more travel and helps to eliminate axle wrap with the bigger travel. All the force from torque is spread out to the main leaf directly, rather than on the smallest leaves that will splay open until it gets to the main leaf.

yea true dat... then i need to lower the rear.. my leafs sit pretty high, so it looks like a stink bug lol... can i just take my leafs out of the shackle and re-drill the hole higher up so that it sits lower? or no?

are you running lift shackles?
