Renix ECU scan tool on ebay?

Renix tester? Found two of these on ebay. Does anyone have any clue what they actually do? Is it the rare DRB II scanner or an even more rare special tool for testing just the ECU as a loose part? The cable connector makes me think it is a tester for loose Renix ECUs, which I have never seen or even heard of before. Since the Renix ECUs never seem to die, it may just be a door stop, but if not????

I can read the simple test procedure data on the label in the photo on this one, looks like a door stop with out some missing hardware, like a read out display and????
