Mechanic? Need a job?

San Francisco's transit system is hiring.

Muni Railway is hiring mechanics to work on the electrical trolley buses and on the light rail vehicles. The job announcement & how to apply is HERE.

I do not know how many will be hired; there are 29 vacancies but some may not be filled. This position also maintains the cable cars ( I have no idea why) but those positions are high seniority positions. Mechanics for diesel buses will probably be the next announcement right after the 1st of the year.

Nope, not HR but I did stay at the holiday inn express last night. I am the Chief Mechanical Officer. Spelling is helpful but not a requirement.
