Sweet app I found for my iPhone. Geoguide 3D. Shows 3D and 2D topographical maps of roads, trails, and terrain. You can record your whole trip and add pictures at certain points after you upload it to everytrail.com. One of the coolest features is the live graph that accurately shows the exact terrain you travel (incline/decline) and MPH. Now if only it had a tiltmeter also!!! THat would be sweet. This is great for mapping trips and I can tell its going to be a very handy when planning future runs.

Just a trip from yakima to selah...

The second link does work directly, no login required.

Yeah I can see it. That is really cool. So how stable did 160mph feel?

160 mph? lol I just saw that. Must have been bad reception causing a spike. Around town it triangulates off satellites AND the cell towers. Doesnt seem to be as accuarate as when up in the hills and only using the satellites

Just down loaded it have to check it out tomorrow, thanks for the info man.

Yea. The "lite" version only lets you download 1 section of map. But the full version is only 1.99! It looks like the software was mainly based off hiking and mountain biking but glancing at the maps around here it looks like it has all the same trails my paper USGS maps have. I think I found out why the MPH is so spikey. Under the "record track" menu I have it set to record in intervals of 5 seconds.

No the full was $3.99 but I got it anyways because I know this will be used a lot when out on fishing trips as well as everything else.

What did you download? Geoguide 3D World Maps and Tracks. It's 1.99. That's what it says on my phone...

Oh hell I don't no I search for everytrail and got the one that said everytrail lol Yeah just looked it's Everytrail PRO

Sorry for the confusion. Geoguide used everytrail.com to upload trips. The everytrail app looked cool too because you can add pictures and videos to your track right when and where you take them. I don't know if it does the elevation and mph. From reading about it it looks like it doesn't use 3D mapping either.

Oh great now look what you made me do I waisted $4 lol So now I geuss I will have to apps lol Ok so I want geoguilde? Geoguide 3D worldwide maps and tracks?
