The official nomination period starts today, Tueday, June 11, 2013 and runs through Monday June 24th. Elections will begin on June 25th and run through Monday July 1, 2013.
The official process is a nominee must be nominated by a member in good standing. The nomination must have a second, and finally the nomination must be accepted by the nominee.
All nominees must be current members in good standing for a minimum of 1 year. Please remember to use full names, not just screen names. Please don't blindly nominate people. Always ask the person if they want to run before nominating them.
This election is for an interim term to fill the vacated position of Vice President; the interim term runs from July 2, 2013 through December 31, 2013.
Please think long and hard about who you would like to be filling this position for our SoCal chapter for the rest of the year. Candidates are encouraged to create an "about me" thread.
