Cherokee insurance salvage value

Anyone had an XJ salvaged through insurance lately? Just curious was it was valued at.

In my experience it will depend on your area and condition of the vehicle.
Just think about all those other Cherokees you have been looking at in your area. I would guess somewhere in that range.

Early last year when my daughter totaled my stock '92 Limited and the insurance company settled with me, I got to buy it back for $150. They said that it was all they were going to get for it for scrap.

So got the word. The salvage cost is about $400. Now I just gotta negotiate the value up.

I ended up at ~$3300 value; ~$400 salvage.

Right before I sold my last XJ I was kind of hoping someone would hit me. I knew I'd get more out of it that way then selling it and then I could have parted it out for more money LOL.
