Camping next weekend

Looking for a place to take my kids for a 4 day weekend. The youngest is 18 mo. Looking for a place that isnt going to be too cold at night so rubicon area is out. Would like a place with a lake or river for fishing and isnt overly busy. All suggestions are welcome. Wont be taking the jeep will have my 4x4 2500 suburban so it cant be too crazy on the wheeling aspect either. Thanx in advance for the input.

I have heard good things about Letts Lake. Low elevation too.

Easy access and I am not sure how busy it is. Pay sites so you need to reserve.

It is in Mendocino NF. It is near 100s of miles of service roads and mild trails.

Anyone been to eagle lakes up by cisco grove, and can you drive to it/them?

I did once. You just need to get past drive shaft hill.

I have been to the Cisco grove area a few times w my kids. Lots of river camping and fun driving around.

We liked camping at Rollins Lake for nearby fishing. You can camp at Greenhorn or Long Ravine. Greenhorn can get busy, though. Other nearby lakes we liked for camping were Sly Park and Scotts Flat.
