Alternator/charging system: green cable?

Hey guys,


I'm working on piecing this damn 2001 XJ back together and am stumped on the green cable (probably 10ga?) with a flat square terminal, which looks an awful lot like the PDC connection (but without the 90 degree bend). The alternator cable is clear, as is the starter lead... but this green one has me scratching my head, especially since it's been 4 years.

Been googling and looking through the FSM but coming up empty-handed. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

God dammit. All I've gotta do is ask and I figure it out moments later.


The green cable exits on the passenger side of the PDC based on the existing bend in the cable. Ignore this.
