4.6 Jeep Stroker Long Block - About 1000 miles on it

This started life being built by Russ, Here on Naxja, and known for building these.

It was a very expensive / costly build that I have "down" done, in hopes of passing smog and for normal trails and just to be cool. Currently being swapped out for a stock engine so that I can smog and likely sell the Jeep TJ it is in.

This is what I know about it. Maybe Russ can add or clarify anything.

Everything was done to a higher quality than your basic stroker that he builds.

Then I added to it, to make it less "built" but reliable...

Cam is the Mopar Performance Purple Camshaft

Head is a Clearwater NEW head that is made not crack like the OE heads do and larger valves, better springs, and keepers, etc.

Has Harland Sharp 1.7ratio roller rockers.

It was running as it should when removed.

Will include Oil Pan to valve cover
Timing cover, high flow flow cooler Water pump. High flow t-stat housing with shaw 192deg T-stat. No manifolds, alt/ac pump/ps pump etc on the front. No brackets. No harmonic bal.

No Leaks at all. Its still new really.

I will take $1200 cash for it. It is located in Corona CA for a few more days (till March 26th) then will be in Yorba Linda CA.

If you come to corona to get it in the next 5 days, I will include a set of fiveO motorsports 19lbs (more like 20.5 at 49psi) injectors that were $335 for the set.

Actually interested, but this would be going in a smog vehicle....so how close was it? What did it actually fail for? Numbers?
 
Kept throwing p300 and p30x codes randomly and then would at times go out but can't smog with them stored. So when I reset them then the monitors stay one for so long. Can't drive it due to not registered, so putting 20-50 miles to get all but 1 monitor to go out was very risky.
Done, just going all back to stock...

Strokers will smog. Here's my 4.6 built by Russ. I didn't second guess him and said "Make it run on pump gas, and pass smog, and make good power". He delivered. Here's it's first smog. Feel free to look at all the pictures of the headwork and what not. Looking at the cam specs that mopar purple cam had a 108 lobe separation angle and mine has 113 with similar lift and duration. Narrow LSA will screw with vacuum at idle, probably the reason it was throwing codes.
