Hey Guys
I have a major predicament. I am planning on installining an auxuiluiry Transmitission Cooler on My 200 XJ and in additio to that I want to add a tranny Temp Gauge. Problem being I need to determine the thread pattern ( either NPT, or METRIC ). Now here is the real KICKER. I have attempted to get in contect with several Jeep/Chrysler Dealers around the country and NO ONE has been able to come up with the answer?? Finally Don Davis here in Arlington gave me the direct number to the manufacturer in Michigan. Belive it or not after speaking with them and having them go through there archives they called me back and tld me " I AM SORRY BUT WE ARE UNABLE TO GIVE YOU THE CORRECT INFORMATION YOU ARE LOOKING FOR AT THR PRESENT TIME!!!!!) So my response to them was, " So you are telling me that the manufacturer of the vehicle is unable to tell me something as simple as this"? He response was, "I UNFORTUNATELY GUESS SO".
Well to make a long story short, has anyone ever installed a tranny temp gauge into there XJ with an Aisian/ WArner-4 Transmission? and if so woild you please tell me the correct fitting threads. It is a 50/50 **** shoot and being that the tranny was used in Toyotas I would Bet heavily on Metric, But I usually dont do well in the casino's or lotory's. So any assisitance in the matter would be greatly appreciated!
Best regards & Happy Holidays

I'm guessing if you google search "aw4 cooler thread" or some such, you'll find what you are looking for.

if you want the aluminum fluid ports on the side of the tranny, they are
