Driver safety - use of LED headlights

Most people I see on the road with a lift just throw them in AND they are pointing too high blinding other drivers.

Driver safety - use of LED headlights

For sure, but the point of my post is they need to be adjusted to compensate for a lift. Most people I see on the road with a lift just throw them in they are pointing too high blinding other drivers.

Driver safety - use of LED headlights

Just a friendly reminder for everyone with lifted jeep XJs who install LED headlights and drive on public streets. I added a 3.5” lift to my XJ and installed LEDs. For the safety of other drivers I then adjusted the headlight position 3.5 inches down to compensate for the lift. Just adjust...

    2000xj running hot

RCP I agree 100%. Troubleshoot and diagnose before spending a dime on replacing anything. Don't know about you RCP but my XJ is my daily driver/only vehicle and I cannot afford, the time or money, to have it offline for one day. Just like adding a donut if a tire goes flat on the highway or a...

    2000xj running hot

A suggestion so the truck is drivable until you determine the main problem: 1. hookup your electric fan to a relay and rocker switch for manual on/off 2. turn on your electric fan after you start your engine to help cool the xj well before it gets too hot

Aftermarket rear dome with 3-way switch wiring help

So i bought an RV light after reading about another XJ user using it as a rear dome light. It has two separate LED light boards controlled with a 3-way switch. I need to rewire the 3-way switch. i want: “Off” = all lights always off position 1 = led 1 comes on when door/hatch is opened...

    2000xj running hot

I just installed a TUPY head in my 2000 and temps have dropped 10 degrees. Did you install a 180 or 195 thermostat? Also, the viper coil conversion allows you to run any year cylinder head without worrying about the 00-01 coil rail.
