Thanks. I have search some through the online libraries. It would be nice if jeep released all of the drawings now unless they are sekretly planning a Classic XJ release and then they might convince me to buy a new one.

Anybody know if there is a good source for CAD models for XJ parts ? In particular I need to make a plastic end cap for the OEM roof rack rail that was broken a few years ago. A perfect use for my bew 3d printer since the part is plastic. thx Matt

My jeep was recovered but not undamaged. The criminal (Deric S.) was stupid enough to leave his court papers in the vehicle when the sheriff found it. It appears he was out on bail already, Hopefully when he shows up in court again years can be added to his prison term.

The rest covers the plastic frame so it wraps around top to bottom. I did a section at a time with the super glue, we will see how long that lasts. thx

I ending up trying super glue and so far it is working, not sure how long it will last. The shoe goo sounds like a good option but I will need to make a mould to hold the armrest shell in place while it sets. Finding a replacement panel is probable not a option as there are not to many base...

the plastic/rubbery armrest cover has separated from the black hard plastic part that is plastic welded right to the door panel. Has anyone had success gluing these back to the base ? What glue did you use ? It look like a soft plastic shell with a spongy rubbery inside for the cover and some...

I have not looked at the ignition switch, but does that not just pull a relay ? I had to replace a relay last year so am thinking others may be going too.

Sooo.... I started measuring voltages on all the fuses under the hood and found a couple with no voltage, so I started the vehicle to check those and everything just started working , GRR. So is all of this controlled by a relay somewhere that I need to replace now ? thx
