    "PayDay" my 2000 XJ Build

Nice score on the Rubicon 44! Whatd it set ya back?? I'd love one, but fear the investment might be too steep and nearly to a 60/ 1ton set up. Like I'll ever be on 40s with my budget lmmfao

    "PayDay" my 2000 XJ Build

I think the cut and fold looks silly with some bumpers... never seen anyone crush that lower corner either. Not like it's killing depart angles right? Cut and fold can look slick, but without a custom bumper idk it's worth it? Plus an obstacle that would actually hit that corner, would probably...

    Exhaust down pipe

You have a cat before the cross member right? The down pipe connection to the header, has a little doughnut right? The piece you pictured with a new doughnut should be good... for the effort though (mating and welding it to your downpipe after cutting it) might be worth the full down pipe to...

CB pros, I've screwed up my ant

Sorry for the interjection, all the convoluted side talk isn't helpful for the Op. I'll see myself out and do some research on what might work for my setup. I did find it interesting that jeep jamboree has gone away from cb and requires gmrs to partake.

98 ZJ gas tank in a 2K XJ

Oof. Had the zj pump fail with a full tank of gas.. I actually just cut an access panel in the rear hatch and had fun that way. Still sucked. Back then, the "swampy mod" was all the rage so I bought a mustang 5.0 fuel pump an installed it inline under the frame rail just after the filter...

CB pros, I've screwed up my ant

Is HAM and/ or gmrs backwards compatible with CB? Or ya need both? I think CBS still are popular but maybe becoming less so?

CB pros, I've screwed up my ant

Is there not a better option these days? I've been using Motorola walkies with my buddy.. be nice to have something that can talk to a group tho. Gotta believe there is better option than the old cb radios here in the 21st century?

WJ front axle in Xj -89

Nitro and liberty of the same year works? I need to grab some at the jy for my spare axle shafts.. if a warn hub goes boom on the trail, or a front axle shaft, I want to be able to throw in a spare shaft with the liberty/ nitro rotor ready to rock

98 ZJ gas tank in a 2K XJ

Tire Decision - Debating between AT and MT

I've always preferred the look and performance of a MT. Bfg T/A ko2s were the first new tire i put on a jeep way back when and they were great tires. Performance off road was good and same for on road inclement weather. If I had a rig I drove on long road trips I might consider them again...

WJ front axle in Xj -89

The akebonos fit with no grinding into my 15" cheap D window steelies... the teeves I took off weren't much smaller, but by a hair. Idk why a bigger rim would be a "good thing for 35" tires" ? id rather have more rubber and less steel/ less weight tbh. I know some have swapped zj seats. I...

    Increase performance at speed?

Truth be told... Solid axle jeeps aren't meant to be go fast vehicles! Ok, no, thats an opinion not a fact.. I, for one, know the difference lol. Folks at jeepspeed may disagree, and the brave that take a unibody rig to KOH, but for the OP: Baja isn't really where these rigs shine. Before I...

    Increase performance at speed?

It was one of multiple recommendations. If going fast was my thing I'd have nice upgraded sway bars (like all of my go fast vehichles). As my current jeep sits, I have none.
