    cooling system bupring question

Ok, just want to verify I did this correctly. Filled up the radiator through the upper hose, then jacked up the back end of the jeep, pulled the temp sensor from the back-drivers side of the engine, and filled that with water. Everything should be ok right? Enough water in the block to heat...

    quick question about shackles

Purchased a 2" BB from Rocky Road, 2" poly spacers on front, 1/2" spacer + 1 1/2" shackles for the rear. Got the front spacers and rear spacer in, the problem arises with the shackles. The instructions are telling me to replace the stock shackle with these, stating that it is on the rear of the...

    upgrade path?

I've tried some searching, but come up empty. What I'm looking for is a suggested upgrade path. I'm interested in running 6-8" of lift. I say 6-8 because the only 8" kit I have found is the skyjacker, and have read that their products aren't quite up to par. My question on the upgrade path is...

rear main seal -- am I doing this correct?

Ok, got the pan dropped, got the rear cap off, now I can't seem to 'encourage' that seal out. I've tried using a screwdriver (with the tip ground off) and hammer to push it out, took a nail and ground off the tip and tried that (succeeded in bending nail), what next? Only thing that has been...

I've got a Wagoneer Limited, with electric seats, are there any suggested replacement seats, maybe made of...

    wheels

Ok, so I picked up my XJ this last weekend, and I know there is no way that it came with the stock wheels, I can tell that much. Question is, what are good wheels to get? I'm wanting to lift and put some 30's on it (and spend as little money as possible on wheels). And how much do you think I...

    front hub bearing replacement

So I found this link http://www.off-road.com/jeep/cherok...ring/index.html detailing the removal of the hubs, my question is, even though the hubs are 'sealed for life' is there a possibility a machine shop could replace the bearings for me? When I bought this thing, it came with all the...

myself! Hey all, new to the Jeep family and off-roading/4-wheeling (as a participant) in general. Picked up an '88 Wagoneer for $450. Had to bypass the NSS and am having some new front wheel bearings installed and it'll be roadworthy. Hopefully I'll be able to do my own BB lift kit and save...
