    My own dad and I had to weld my roof skin on due to it being replaced in 2003 and held on with only panelbond glue? That was no small task so I can't imagine redoing the entire structure! Thanks for keeping one more XJ on the road!

    Throttle body spacer are absolutely useless unless using a TBI set up. Bored throttle body is one of the only "power adders" that works. Now whether it's worth the $300 or so for the 5-10hp you get, is up to you. You can get about another 20-30hp with a proper intake, bored tb and exhaust set...

    Put it on an alignment rack that lifts the axles up, not the body, and listen for it. Or just four stable jackstands would work.

    Okay, I'll make sure to do that. Does anybody know if a front driveshaft will work lengthwise in the back? Stock wheelbase and np231, just an SYE. I know you can with an auto and a SYE but its an inch shorter trans. Thought I'd ask before i take off to the junkyard.
