I bought a used XJ radiator off the C/L so I dunno what YMM it is out of
I will say it is much thicker than the OE one-- maybe a 3 row?
I do know the auto trans add a lot of heat to the rad.
So I am guessing it is out of a late model auto trans XJ
So my cooling system mods...
watching U tube vids of the death wobble it looks like everything is flexing adding to the problem. Even the motormounts seem to add to the problem

An exhaust leak at the head/manifold will kill your mileage!!
This is B/C anywhere that exhaust leaks out also allows...
for troubleshooting I allways start with the basics.
plugs
wires
cap
rotor
it is easy to check for timing chain stretch
first take off the distributor cap
put a wrench on the cranl puller nut and turn the engine a little mabe 1/8 turn.. untill the rotor moves a little. then turn the crank...
I had my exhaust "manifold" off to weld up all the cracks.
While it was off I put a ton of header wrap and also fabricated a sheet metal heat shield
Then I made a hood hinge spacer kit with longer bolts
I assume this has prevented any underhood temp problems
