I'm at 127k on my 91. Looks like they can go another 30-50k. Only done the fronts once. Complete overhaul though...new pads, rotors, and calipers.

Haynes manual recommends teflon taping for this particular sender.

So I understand a little better...the air charge temp sender on the intake manifold at the rear of the engine is actually what moves the gauge and not the thermostat temp sender? Or do they work together? Thanks, Mark 91 XJ 126k
