Hesitation for first 100-200' of driving, then fine?

Another update: hesitation came back. Was reading more about those symptoms and saw an article pointing to the upstream O2 sensor. Replaced it and sure enough, that was it.

Hesitation for first 100-200' of driving, then fine?

Just a quick update: Hesitation after start up has almost completely gone away. Sensor stopped giving CEL after a day or so and has seemingly been working fine. I found two small hoses that look like they could be providing a bit of a vacuum leak at the intake manifold, will replace and see if...

Hesitation for first 100-200' of driving, then fine?

Update: replaced TPS, same thing still happens and now my CE light is showing voltage for the TPS is too high/too low. I'm going to exchange it for another unit. Any ideas in the meantime?

    Whoops, can't believe I forgot the basics: 96 4.0 with AW4

Hesitation for first 100-200' of driving, then fine?

Hey, everyone. Having some weird issues as of late and I'm looking for some other view on them if you're up for it. #1 Each time I start the Jeep it idles fine, no issues there. I can open the throttle and it will respond just fine while stationary. However, once I start moving down the road it...

    rubber fender trim?

That sucks. TJ flares to cover up the bad trim job? Or maybe trim more to smooth the lines out a bit?

    rubber fender trim?

The door trim AutoZone sells isn't good for cut fenders. Since they'll start to flex at speed, and the climate makes them expand/contract, they fall off really easily. I've used them over the past year or so and gave up after having to replace them every few months. IMO just do a clean trim and...

    How about some handgun recommendations

One more: Finished stippling the full grip. I may dremel down the finger grooves. I've never been too big a fan of them. And for some reason the picture makes certain parts of the grip look darker. :dunno:

    How about some handgun recommendations

I found out how to do the grip reduction on glocktalk.com. Really good site. I wanted to avoid cutting the frame up, and I was worried that if I did the fill and cut method for reduction the filler would separate from the frame over time after firing. Bowtie over there has a guide on how to do...

    How about some handgun recommendations

So after having the Kahr for about 3 months, I put about 500rds through it. Not a bad gun, except for it jamming about every 25 shots. Pretty much unacceptable. It supposedly had a break in period before it was reliable, but that was a joke, at least in my case. So I got a Glock. Irony, right...

New HiLift Location on the XJ

I only made it to page 3 and couldn't take any more of the arguing. FFS, NAXJA. Achmed, sweet Jeep.

DPG belly skid: every single bolt is stripped. Body flex?

For the $95+shipping TNT (er, Treks now) wants for stiffeners, it's up there on the list. Only thing is, my skid probably won't fit with stiffeners since it already tight to the rails.

DPG belly skid: every single bolt is stripped. Body flex?

That's how I'll redo it. I was more of a noob back in the day :dunce: ? It took like five mins to check them all to feel they were stripped, and I never pulled them out to look 'cuz it was freezing and dark.

DPG belly skid: every single bolt is stripped. Body flex?

That seems simple enough. I've used them before without trouble, I'm just worried they may not fair as well with a skid plate that I really beat on. It doesn't look like it really has new mounts, just different hardware and flush bolts.

DPG belly skid: every single bolt is stripped. Body flex?

I honestly don't remember. I need to check. I couldn't see too well because it was dark out when I tightened them back up a few hours ago. EDIT: Yeah, they are. I just checked DPG's site and I have the older design which they say used self-tappers. If the install was bad I'd think they would've...

DPG belly skid: every single bolt is stripped. Body flex?

Just like the title says. I've been getting three faint pops when turning. I suspected my steering but didn't find anything wrong. I was looking under the Jeep today just out of curiosity and found one of the bolts almost completely falling out. I went to tighten them all up and 7/10 were finger...

    should i pull the trigger?

What's his asking price? And like Dan said, the pic isn't working and it sounds like a mall crawler. What size are the tires? 33s would be about the cut-off point for DDing, but 35s are really pushing it especially if it isn't regeared.

Home Depot is where I got my 1". It's plenty strong for small stuff like this.

    How about some handgun recommendations

Welp, I got a Kahr CW9 9mm. After a lot of reading and shooting, it seems the best all around for what I wanted: carry at all times wherever allowed, light weight, slim profile, and a good fit for my hands. A 1911 was a bit out of my price range at this point, and after carrying a friends all...
