    Blower Motor Speed Issues

So what is the fix for that? I pulled the dash apart to find the wiring completely melted at the back of the switch. Near as I can tell, I need to replace the wiring, relay and the switch. Does this sound about right? Is the dealership the only/best place to get these parts? Is the wiring...

    c-rok

I, too, have C-ROK front a rear bumpers. The rear departure angle is great, and the front LP bumper/winch mount is cool, too. IMO, the front is a good compromise between approach angle and keeping it low in front of the grill.

    Steering components

I was just looking at the kits listed in the FAQ sticky about Dana 30 Steering Tech. I thought the Tera knuckle was considered high steer; isn't it? Thanks for any help or comments.

    Steering components

I was reading through the "Dana 30 Steering - Tech Information" post and at all the kits listed and was wondering one thing: for steering components, are TREs or heims preferred for steering components? This would be going on a 5-6" lifted Jeep. Just looking for some opinions.

    SYE installation

Thanks for the replies! I was a lot more patient today and used the "slide the pump on the splines and attach to pump tube and cross my fingers and hope it stays on" method. Seemed to work. Thanks, this is what public forums are for! :-)

    SYE installation

Just digging up an old post instead of starting a new one :) but was wondering if any of you have any tips for re-installing the rear 1/2 of the case and oil pump? Other than patience, is there another trick? Also, the Craftsman Lock Ring pliers I bought worked just fine taking off all the...

SYE help. urgent, in garage now!

Snow? what's that? :) Anyway, thanks a ton!!! i woulda thought 10mm, but I couldn't see back there at all; I have the TNT skidplate/crossmember on and its making this process a tad more difficult than it needs to be. I owe ya a beer next time you make it to Phoenix (it's 65* here right now...

SYE help. urgent, in garage now!

I've read thru several sye writeups and cannot find what size nut is on the back of the 10mm 12pt bolt at the top? I've left the case in the Jeep and would rather not take it out at this point. TIA!!!

    Any tail light tricks?

Just curious, but did he actually get DOT approval? I thought that was a pretty expensive ordeal. AFAIK, they need to be reflective and have a side marker, then it's up to the individual state laws. I have the older Full Size XJ boxes (two 4" round lights) and have been right in front of Hwy...

    RE leaf pack question

I have some RE 3.5" leafs sitting on my garage floor right now. There are 5 leaves with one really short for a total of 6. My buddy has RE 4.5" springs on his garage floor; I'll try and get over and count them, and maybe even snap a pic of them side by side.

    wheel spacers

 I couldn't agree more. It's not that I don't like the black steel wheels, but I bought the TJ Canyons (15x8) from a friend right after getting the Jeep a year ago, not realizing that the BS is not appropriate for 33x12.50 tires. Oh well.

    Quick disconnects

Mine and my friend's home made extended sway bar discos are modeled after the ones on the site you listed. This link shows the ones my friend made... http://members.cox.net/marsquatch/

    Sliced an MT/R, $200 mistake.

I saw the same thing happen to a guy with fully inflated BFG ATs. It was actually kinda cool to see (although changing the tire in the slush/rain was no fun!) but could have easily been avoided had he aired down like the rest of us.

    Your Favorite Tire

I've had 31" BFG MTs (pre-KOs,) 32" MT/Rs and 32" ProComp MTs. They all wore about the same, but the MT/Rs seem to ride better on road. I would say all 3 performed about the same off road, but think the MT/Rs have a better sidewall than the ProComps or BFGs. With that said, I plan to go with...

    6.5" lift with no SYE

haha! I'm right there with you on that one. Everytime I think I've got it figured out the way I want, another idea comes up! The only "problem" i see is that (from everything I've read and a couple rigs I've seen) the RE parts, especially the leafs, give more than the advertised lift! That...

    6.5" lift with no SYE

As another had mentioned, the 4.5" springs and coils will likely give you more lift than the 4.5", so keeping your current components will likely net you 7+" of lift. I can't imagine running without an SYE/CV DS at that height. Not to mention, if you're new to this, and possibly new to...

    ARB front, trac-lock rear?

From everything I have read, the LAs actually make the ON road ride more pleasant. At 5.5" (probably closer to 6 by the time it's done) you're LCAs will be at a pretty steep angle compared to stock. RE does make some drop brackets that people seem to be pretty happy with. I think they are in...

Anyone with Teraflex ESS SYE experience?

Dakota Digital is either the name of the company, or the converter box they make. I *think* you need the converter box if you don't have the electric speedo already. I could be waaaaay off, but they are not too expensive, about $60-$75, if you do need one.

    rock sliders

I just stopped by Kevin's Offroad and we test fit a set of his Cherokee sliders to see if they'd work with my TnT belly pan (and soon to be LA lift!) They fit with no problems, and since I have the HD chassis stiffenerz from TnT, I've got something sturdy to attach them too! And Kevin's has a...
