OK heres the story, I got my power antenna working but now my outside temp gauge in the overhead console quit. The compass works just fine but the temp gauge reads 0C all the time. I looked in my Haynes manual and on a on line manual for a 88 and cant find any info on it. OH yah 90 lerado.

I've been following the thread about swapping the hi output alt from a 90's dakota (etc) into the 91 and later xj. Are there any options for the earlier models ( 90 and older). I have a 90 Loredo 4.0 auto and am in need of a higher output alt. and was wondering what else might fit.
