My 2000 XJ just started to make a rather loud knock and has low oil pressure. Any idea's on rebuilding???? Stock cam, stock oil pump or other mod's while the engine is out. Any shops in Indianapolis IN area to use or stay away from. Been 20 years ++ since my last engine rebuild on a small block...

Does anyone know if power door and crank up doors can be converted from one style to another? 94 model 4 door XJ. Looking to convert non power window door to a power window door.

96 6 cyl 4.0 Auto Cranks over but will not fire up. Tried some starting fluid and no change. Pulled a spark plug and it do have a weak "orange colored" spark. Any quick ideas to try!

Does any one know what changed from 95 to 96 on the 4.0 six cylinder engine? Are they interchangable, what issues would I have in dropping a 95 engine into a 96 XJ Body?

Any body had any luck rebuilding a window motor, the passenger motor in my 1989, it has been getting slower and today would not go up until I unstuck the brushes by tapping on motor. Could get a replacement one for $80 or more but just asking....

Long term - Permanent fix I added my Jeep to the list who has sheared the three passenger side bolts off the block. It happened going up a sand hill in the Badlands. Also found the drivers side rubber mount trashed, so I guess the extra movement from the left mount over stressed the right...

Installed a D30 from a 1987 XJ in my 94 XJ using the steering knuckes from the 94. What ball joints should I use as the 87 has the adjustable lower sleve in the knucke and the 94 does not? Since I'm useing the non-adjustable knucke should I use the non-adjustable ball joints????

I'm installing a 87 front axle (4x4) in my 94 two wheel drive, I know the brakes are different. Since I will allready have it apart to replace the ball joints, can I use the hub flange (the part that connects the ball joints to the wheel bearing hub) from the 94 and keep the 94 style brakes...

Has any one Installed - driven - or Removed one of these kits? Looking for some feed back Am I better off with a Rough Country 3 inch lift? Thanks
