From your description it seems like it is leaking where mine was. So you will need to replace the injector. I went ahead and replaced all of mine. If one goes, most likely the others will soon follow. And the fuel rail is off, might as well do them all. chris

Check your battery terminals and the other ground terminals. Sure sounds like a battery either gone or on the way out. Without a full battery charge the starter and ECU will both act crappy. chris

No lift needed. Just Jack it up and set it in Jack stands so that the Front end hangs. Just make sure you use GOOD jack stands. Then the rest is basic hand tools. chris

Are you sure it is the injectors and not the plugs or plug wires? Have you tried to swap the injectors around to see if you have the same problem in the same cylinders? chris

As for the oil pump, I would be hesitant to use anything that might have the slightest chance of coming loose and getting into any of the oil passages. I checked the head from a 94 4.0 HO and I didn't notice any grooves. I'll pull some off later tonight and check (if you don'y have an answer...

Wrong fuel? Someone put diesel in it? What year????? Some tanks you can get a small hose into the tank. I have one set up to siphon fuel out just in case a fuel pump goes bad on some of our rigs. chris
