Could be, but when the problem arises a new cps fixes it instantly. What are the symptoms of a bad crank?

Is there anything that could be shorting these sensors out? I've noticed it takes longer to crank up than it did before. Even with the used genuine mopar cps i put in.

Az didnt even work. Napa worked for about 100 miles.

I tried cps's from AZ and napa. Az never worked and sent me on a wild goose chase. The one from napa worked for a couple of day then crapped out. Just installed one from the jy today.

Tampa_XJ pointed out they have different part numbers. Do you think they are all interchangeable? I've seen some cps's from the jy that look identical untill you look at the terminals.

I don't know the part number they used. I simply told them my vehicle information and the guy said it's discontinued. Maybe he made a mistake, I did only call one dealership. I'll try again tomorrow.

I need a new cps for my 93 XJ. Called up the dealership and they told me they stopped making them. Does anybody know where to get an original mopar cps? I've tried 2 different brands and while the second one worked for a while, my motor stalled out again. Any recommendations?

The rpm gauge doesn't move until the motors running.
