Well, after pouring over the Rancho spreadsheets, the Waggy leafs are gonna be the closest application for moving the center pin back. Problem is, the Waggy leafs are about 4" shorter in overall length. I guess I will have to relocate my shackle hangers forward if possible.
I have the needed fab skillz. What are the specs on the S10 springs? How much longer are they? I want less pin offset than the srock XJ leafs. Waggy leafs are too short overall.
Has anyone found much luck using a different rear spring application swapped in place of XJ leafs? I am wanting a leaf with less offset, more spring rate, slight lift (3") and close to the same overall length.
I just though I would post this info so it might help some poor fool like me in the future.
1992 4.0 AW4 running rough, seemed like it wasn't getting enough fuel. Checked pressure at rail, found it was 20 PSI while cranking and running. Turn key off and the pressure would bleed off quickly...
Lincoln is probably spot on. Remove the Fill/check plug and check the level of fluid. If fluid runs out when you remove the plug, it was over filled or has water contamination.
UPDATE:
Alright, Fuel pressure did not even register the first time I keyed on, pump made no noise. Second time I keyed on, the pump made noise, but still nothing registered on the guage. A few more key on/off and the guage registers about 19 psi. Got it started and...
