all the slack comes from the upper portion, its just a matter of moving that slack through the buckle itself. Are they tangled up or twisted at all?

what locker do you have? If its a lunchbox locker, just throw it in the 29spline case. If its a full case locker, you are SOL short of using the 27spline shafts.

I stick with 10w30. I have learned over the years that the brand of oil you run in these motors is less important than the frequency of the oil changes. Ill run anything from havoline to mobil1 depending on what is on sale. I always run a quality filter (Napa Gold, or Mobil1)
