$3500 or best reasonable offer, and I’m pretty firm on that considering everything I’m offering. Located in Richmond, VA but I could deliver it within reason (say an hour or so drive of here). Not interested in any trades.

I never thought I’d see the day, but I am sadly selling my MJ. Recent...
Spent the morning replacing the thermostat housing, after three failed attempts at getting the old one to seal after I replaced the thermostat a few weeks ago. I didn't specifically ask for one, but the parts place gave me a high-flow housing, and it juuuusssstttt barely clears the idler pulley...
Finally got mirror relocation brackets for the TJ so I can run doorless. Installed them Friday after work, and was taking the steel half doors off and did a stupid move. Pulled the passenger door off and set it on the step rail to get a better grip on it, and then proceeded to lift it by the...
Long story short, I swapped AX15's in my MJ to an external slave setup. Sourced a sealed, prebled master/hydraulic line/slave assembly from the junkyard but awhile ago, I seperated the slave and hydraulic line from the master because a friend needed the slave. He ended up not using it and I...
early prognosis on this weekend's weather setting up for the mid-Atlantic, shows an even BIGGER storm than what we got this weekend. Still too early to lock in a precip forecast, but this one could be a doozey.......stay tunedparty1:

Are the input shaft/sun gear assemblies interchangable between early model 231 and 242 cases? Not talking about the short vs long or the cut of the gear teeth, just need to know if I can swap a 231 input into a 242 case.
Thanks,
Jeff
I've got a spare complete 2.5L engine that came out of an 88 MJ with @ 75K on it that I no longer need. $250 OBO, located currently outside of Indiana, PA. By complete I mean the serp belt is still on it, ready to drop in, hook up and fire.

Long story short, my brand new internal slave died on me this weekend, and I've got to drop the tranny and repair. I've got the bellhousing for an external slave, but need the rest of the parts. Anyone have them that I can buy ASAP?
TIA,
Jeff
After I SOA’d my MJ and went to 33’s and 4.56’s, the tired old 2.5L just wasn’t cutting it any more, so I decided to swap in a 4.0. Altogether, I spent about a good week of work on it, spread out over the course of a couple months of weekends between work and a few late nights after work. I...
I'm swapping a 4.0 in place of the 2.5 in my MJ. Got the engine/tranny all ready to go back in but can't figure out any good spots on the 4.0 block to attach the lift chains. I don't have a leveler, but am wanting to lift the assembly from around the rear of the block/bellhousing area so I can...
