    Cylinder 1 Misfire Mystery!

If its the cam you should be able to see the wear on the lobes, or just use a dial and don't take it apart

    Cylinder 1 Misfire Mystery!

My thoughts as well, I still say you pull that cam out before you pull the motor. but that's just my two cents.

    Solid Aluminum TieRods

Look at stinkyfab racing, they have a steering system that uses aluminum rods, they seem to have great luck and a few videos of the system being tested. and they will be the system I end up running when I get to that part of my build

    Cylinder 1 Misfire Mystery!

I was going to suggest this. I have personally seen it on a 4.0 that wasn't driven very hard at all and the cam being flat spotted was the issue.

Best all around long arm kit?

Thanks for the input, I was worried about high speed stability with the 3 link but it seems that's a non factor, I will be running a 12" 2.5 coilover up front with it. I want to get as much travel as possible. I may even buy a pair of 14's from a buddy.

93 XJ BUILD (WITH LS SWAP)

More of the hood, I need to get something to use as supports im thinking just some small pieces of solid stock, then once I get the contour I want ill cut some sheet metal for the sides.

Best all around long arm kit?

Thanks for all the input guys, after looking through some of the suggested options and some others I think ill end up going with the SFR 3 link and the aluminum steering from them as well.

93 XJ BUILD (WITH LS SWAP)

so I dropped the motor in with the L59 oil pan and I definitely see what you guys were saying about the clearance. I am looking into a hummer H3 alpha oil pan, the sump is about 13inches back, lm5 is between 12.5 and 12.75 back so I figure why not take that extra 1/4 inch. Any one else hear...

93 XJ BUILD (WITH LS SWAP)

Got the alternator mounted up, i like it, sits pretty low. I may eventually go with an LS1 style intake but for cost right now I'm just going to chop the hood up little and do a cowl hopefully it comes out ok.

93 XJ BUILD (WITH LS SWAP)

Was painting the headers last night and went to shoot some of the white paint and the can was just spraying speckles, so I just said oh well and went with It... I was going for a red, white and blue theme.. Also got some ICT brackets in for power steering and alternator relocation. if things go...

93 XJ BUILD (WITH LS SWAP)

Been on a bit of a budget lately but I have been sourcing small little pieces to get this thing rollin. I just picked up a cooling fan from a 99 Volvo s70 I believe, pretty much the same as the Taurus fan but it comes with the relay block and easy wiring! Also have most the parts to do my fuel...
