Cleaning out the garage and came across some stuff I don't need anymore:
Rubicon express LCA's - $50
Doors:
2 front passenger doors and one rear driver-side door. One has glass and a regulator/motor assembly - not sure if it works, but the glass is good. $30 each, $40 for the one with glass...
Up for sale is my 2001 Cherokee Sport with about 221,000 on the clock. I bought this Jeep as a project and, sadly, I don't have the time I thought I would to upgrade it and take it wheeling as I had originally intended. The Jeep runs great and would work as well as a daily driver as it would a...
I had an issue on my 04 Grand Cherokee with the blend doors that controlled the hot/cold mix. Easy fix to avoid taking the dash out was to dremel the side of the box behind the glove box. Sounds like your issue is outside of the box. Why not JB weld the arms?
Unfortunately I have to back out of this one. Have a last-minute dinner with some out of towners. Enjoyed the last one and was looking forward to this :(
Thanks for the info, MD. Sounds pretty similar.
Jeepgod, thanks for the offer but I don't have the space or an engine hoist at the moment. Looking like this may be a project that starts next summer or winter. I'll post up in here when I'm ready to get going on it.
Tom, thanks for the offer. I remember trying once last year and the store clerk had no idea what either was. It's a crap shoot with the person you get at the counter, so I'll call around to a few in Longmont to see if they have one. Did you get my PM about the u joint?
MD, I have come across...
Got an injector and misfire code on cylinder 5 the other day. It was hot as hell outside and I stopped to pick up food, so I thought it might be heatsoak. I've had heatsoak before and it occurred immediately upon starting, but I was always able to push through it in 30 seconds or so. This time...
Huge thanks to Tom for helping me yank the t-case. It took a few hours but we were able to get the seal swapped with relatively little trouble.
Buuut it's still leaking. Well, I'm hoping that what I'm seeing is residual fluid left over from the previous leak, but hope in one hand and what...
Cross referenced a Timken 225005 from a thread on Jeep Forum, which Advanced has in stock in Longmont. I can grab that today.
Should we do the front input seal on the transfer case (or anything else) while we're in there?
I need to replace the rear seal on the AW4 trans in my '01 XJ. Does anyone know the Chrysler part number I can use to cross reference? Many of the options on parts stores' websites look different from what I've seen in youtube videos and I can't have the car sit if I get the wrong seal. I...
I don't have access to either jack, unfortunately. I can bench press 100 lbs on a steel bar, but I don't know how well I'd do with a greasy chunk of cast aluminum while I try to line things up.
While not perfect, I prefer my head stay the same shape it is now.
