Testing the waters on selling my XJ. I don't make it out much anymore and I feel bad just letting it sit. I was a mechanic for quite a while so this wasn't just hillbillied together. The following is a list of things done to the truck:
6" bastard pack lift
Rear disk conversion from a 97 grand...
Moreover, I didn't see the DB logo cut into them like dirtbound usually does. Not making accusations I'm just saying its hard to judge a real price. Also, I don't know what the welds look like. If these were the DIY flares, I don't know who welded them or the extent of their abilities as a...
Hey man legit reasons. If you could get them for the same price new or used, would you not throw a lower offer? they're painted, gotta strip them, they're used, and i threw an offer. they're only worth what someone is willing to pay.
In preparation for WF I have a small list going. I'm looking to put my frame stiffeners, 2 x 6 rockers and tires with a bonus 8.25 lunch box. the lunchbox is a maybe. but these red letters are trash and gots to go. that being said, i'm entertaining tire size options. i know 33's up from 31's...
not to beat you up but the DIY's are 229 on DB. would you take $100? i could take them for that and drive all the way to you (3.5 hours) or i could pay 150 if you'd be willing to meet in South Haven. LMK

hey guys, theres a gmc canyon tailgate that i've got my eye on but its in Phillipsburg Missouri. anyone close to there that could get it close to chicago?
Yes the T.O.B. tabs caused me a problem. It caused my bearing to not slide square with the input shaft and it bound up.

If I had to guess, it's something with the throw out bearing. Last time I had one out I seem to remember the input shaft throw out bearing clearance being super tight and having to clean the hell out of the shaft to clear it off any little bit of debris. That being said, it could've possibly...
Dont plan on finding new brackets. You can only get them from the dealer and they're like 300 a piece. I opted for the an disk swap because the timing was right.

Okay guys. I had a chirp that I thought was the alternator. So I pulled the belt and low and behold the chirp is still there. I hear it in the exhaust as well. I've done the research and I'm seeing where lifters go bad on these and take out the cam as well. I've got 165 on the clock and just...
Mine was deburred. Kinda. It looked like they just hit it with a wire wheel lol. I used P.O.R. 15 metal prep and it worked awesome
