Installing 79 Ford 60 in my 98 XJ, already have rear 60 installed. Running Clayton longarm with limiting straps in the front. What recomendation do I need for frame suppport. I'm running homemade sliders welded to the rails now.

Keep eating ujoints on left shaft on my 79 Ford HP44, is this do to being welded in the front or is something else wrong. The first time it pushed out the caps on the inner shaft and now it it is starting to squeak and pop and only went on one ride. Has not effected the right side shaft.

Purchased axles out 79 F250, 60 rear 44 front. The 44 has the left spring perch as part of the cast housing, what options do I have to mount brackets to this? Pictures would really be helpful.

I got a no-slip in front d30 and it doesn't want to unlock when turning then it suddenly unlocks with a loud snap and then the steering jerks allowing it to turn easy. Running 85w140 gear oil. I installed exactly to instructions.

Found a 2wd WJ front axle assembly complete and the knuckles and brakes all look the same as 4wd just wondering if this will swap the same. As I can pick up everything including steering for 450.00. If so is this a good price, what else would I need to buy to complete the swap?
