    94 XJ (many upgrades) Moab

I'm moving and retiring. I'm saddened to be selling my XJ, but it's time to move on. There's other minor mods that have been added but not listed below. It has a slight crease on the drivers side back door from a tree limb. Currently, the back seat has been removed but it can be reinstalled...

A/C AUX fan switch (sort of)

I'm wanting to have my AUX fan to come on as it does when the A/C is on, BUT WITHOUT having the A/C on. I want to retain the default (factory) A/C auxiliary fan on/off settings when I run the A/C. I have a manual switch now, but would rather have it come on automatically at the default A/C...

    Idle air control unit install

I replaced the IAC unit a few months back and somewhere in a post regarding installation, they said to follow a certain sequence after it was installed. It was regarding disconnecting the + battery cable for a certain length of time then touching it to ground to discharge capacitors (??)...

    Auxiliary fan is temperamental...

I put an override switch on my aux fan so I can control when I want it to come on. Works great..... except for one goofy thing. I can get it to work great until the engine hits 220* then the fan shuts OFF. Power is still being supplied and has not been interrupted but fan won't run again...

    e-brake / roll control

Anyone have experience with their e-brake not holding well? I've got Ford Explorer disc brakes on the back of my '94 (auto) with a D44 . I replaced the e-brake shoes, adjusted, re-adjusted, and adjusted some more. Still wimpy. I've been using "P" as my e-brake but would rather have a good...

    Taurus 2 speed fan switching

I've installed the Taurus 2 speed fan and want to control the temps that each speed comes on. I have the temperature switches, but not sure if I can wire it the way I want to. If the lower temp is set for 210 on / 195 off, and the higher temp set set for 220 / 210, will that conflict with the...

    A4W oil change

So I thought it would be a no brainer, just messy to remove the transmission oil pan to change the oil. Well, the dipstick / filler tube is welded to the pan and it looks like I have to remove oil lines or the exhaust head pipe to get the pan off. What miserable piece of engineering...

    BANTAM TRAILER

I've had this trailer for many years. I have the original title but has not been registered because UT does not require trailers of this size to be registered. The trailer is in MOAB. I had a custom aluminum water tank made. I also made the tailgate to fold down and added tail lights. The...

Stroker top end 1st / bottom end later

I've been following stroker builds for some time now and due to budget constraints, I would like to do the head / cam work this summer and the bottom end the following winter. Other than the obvious additional work / gaskets, do you stroker guru's see any issues with this scenario? The heep...

WARN WINCH: 9.5 XP ... NEW ! (pictures)

I posted this earlier, but in the wrong place (np231 w/SYE). I purchased this to replace my Ramsey that is in a "hidden winch" location. I did not want to refabricate my brackets so I decided to keep my old Ramsey. The WARN 9.5 WILL work in that location but it's a tight fit. I like NOT...

    Hidden winch mount

I installed a Ramsey REP 8.5e winch a few months ago. Installation was fairly straight forward and not too hard (about 6 hrs.). I was able to retain my stock front bumper in the stock location. I don't have pics of the completed installation yet. I was hoping to install a WARN 9.5 XP in...

    photobucket test

These pix show my "hidden winch" on my '94 XJ. Currently has a Ramsey 8.5. Was hoping to upgrade to a Warn 9.5 but it was just a tad to big and would require more fabrication that I was willing to do at this time. Check out the pix at: The winch IS FOR SALE!! Cost new $1000. Asking...
