I am having same problem on the rear of my Grand. I welded them with a mig and ground them flush. The casting is very very soft. I'm still not sure that that the groove was the root cause or the effect of a slightly sticking caliper. Check for warped rotors also.
I have a 4-1/4" lift in the front and I am considering DB's. Do any of you guys run the DB's with stock arms? Or do you need adjustable UCA's to get the pinion angle right?
I had this happen last month also, fuse blow and all. It turned out to be a short to ground in one of the oxygen sensors circuits. It drove me nuts finding it. When I unplugged and replugged the harness to find out which sensor was shorted, the short never reappeared! I assume a bad...
I made mine from 1 x 2 x 1/8 rectangular tubing, using this design. Works excellent, no vibes on 4" lift w/ chrysler 8.25!
