Reviving a dead thread.
So I may be doing this swap of a 4.0 to NV3550 to 242.
Has anybody done this and what hurdles might I be looking at?
I assume there are late model (98) clutch pedel assemblys to just bolt in?
Thanks for any pointers here.
That is because AJAX buys them in groups when they are avalible then Jason and the rest of us can buy them from them everyday for cheap.
They usually come 2 door manual with all the things you want to start with and non of the things you want to replace.
Confused, I thought some Jeepspeed teams (or the owning companies there of) suported NAXJA though the vendor program, now you want to take that and give it to other teams that don't suport NAXJA. Just suport the ones that are already suporting NAXJA by showing up to a race and lending a hand.

I have not seen a roof model, but you may look at how ever these Cherokees were used for law enforcement, how they mounted them then maybe you can find one of those brackets. I'm sure it would be for tactical legth and be vertical but it is something to look at.
There is no reson to reinvent the wheeel. We made the mount and it has worked in everything for years, never fail. Notheing better. Can't built it your self cheaper unless you have lots of time.
Just buy yht T&J's mount and be done with it the first time.
Sooooo
