That stinks, I was planning on topping off there. ( my group is going to be in the area a few days after you guys)
I take it the 76 station in Shaver is still open. I know it's pricey but we will only need a few gallons to top off.
Splines are in great shape.
So are the Timken bearings.
They are 5 on 4.5 bolt pattern. Ready to bolt in. Came out of a 87 XJ.

I called the rangers yesterday. The gal I spoke with said that the Swamp won't be open for a couple of weeks due to snow and fallen timber. I asked about Red and Coyote and she said they would be open before Swamp but did not have any dates.
With any luck the Fresno club will have Red and Coyote...

I have only been to the Dinkey Creek ranger station for our fire permits. Is there any gas in town? We normally fill up in shaver.

We plan on going in the Southern route. If for some reason we get to Grouse before you we will not camp there. We will go see what we can find near Swamp lake. We just might see you Thursday night. I think we will try and camp in the same area. Do the campgrounds in the Dinkey Creek area require...
