Thanks guys. I was just a little stumped that my power windows work, all 4 from any door, but the locks and lights dont. I will check my fuses on my day off. Thanks again.

Electric Locks Not Working and more!

A few weeks ago my jeep got broken into, they got in through my back hatch since it doesnt lock. Anyway, I almost caught them so instead of unplugging the little connector they just sliced it off and ran with it. Anyway it may be a complete coincidence but I doubt it. The next day I went to...

    Is it possible??

I have the RK 3-Link (not the newest one they have) Gen-2 or something. I am tired of the "Krawler" joints. I am sure the thread in the arms is a standard thread. But I am not sure how to find out what it is. I am wanting to get some different joints, is it possible to get new joints and not...

    Rear Disc Conversion

Haha thanks man! I bled my XJ I think 6 or 7 times before I fixed the front caliper. Anyway all 4 corners are seeing brand spanking new fluid. On this same topic, what is the lifespan of brake fluid?

    Rear Disc Conversion

    Rear Disc Conversion

Well the good news is I replaced the front caliper and that small leak was causing the soft pedal. I had to order a prop valve but everything is a-okay now. Well actually there is one thing. Last year I had a emergency and had to take the XJ to a midas to fix my brakes. They replaced the front...

    Rear Disc Conversion

No worries man. I had only had thoughts of removing the O ring to see if it helped the pedal pressure. But after scouring the net and your site it says the prop valve makes no difference until hard braking. I am actually off to go buy a new front caliper right now anyway since I am on the road I...

    Rear Disc Conversion

Well like an idiot I had them on upside down. It didnt help the mushy feeling though. I drove around the block after got up to about 30mph then slammed brakes and it just lurched forward. Tomorrow after training Ill head to the auto store and get the front caliper. When I re-bleed is it best to...

    Rear Disc Conversion

Doubt this helps but here: Ill check if the calipers to make sure. When I did bleed I went from back right, back left, front right front left. The backs had old fluid so I will bleed till I get clean fluid in the rears. And hopefully tomorrow I will replace my leaking caliper.

    Rear Disc Conversion

Well I did the ZJ conversion on my 96 XJ 8.25. The install was cake but I have an issue of a very soft pedal. I can stop in a safe manner, but the pedal if very soft. I have a small leak in my front left caliper but I could not buy a new one thanks to me losing my debit card. Anyway, I doubt...

Skids what work with RK arms?

Well ive been looking around to get some very much needed underbody protection. I have the RK Arms and I cant find how far forward a lot of belly pans come up. Im looking to ditch my stock x-member for something a lot beefier. I just dont know if they would interfere with the arm braces. I...

rockkrawler long arm, is it worth it??

You need to weld the brackets on. TNT is a more complete kit, comes with a crazy strong belly skid. That being said I have the RK arms and I love em...just wish it came with a skid. You could always do drop brackets.

    Overheating Question

I took a look while getting ready for work. Should both ends have the spring. Or just the end going to the block?? Either way neither end had any sort of spring and I could squeeze both ends. If I remember I could squeeze the block side much easier.

    Overheating Question

I have a 96 XJ. I dont remember if the hose has the spring or not. When I get paid ill take a look at it. And I think I may spring for a more powerful electric fan. How many CFMs does a stock electric put out??

    Overheating Question

Lets see here, just a little history. About 4 months ago I replaced the following: rad, water pump, tstat, fan clutch, and new hoses. I replaced them with: CSF 3 row, regular duty new (not refurb) water pump, 180* tstat, regular duty fan clutch, and a B&M tranny cooler. One thing I didnt do was...

Took on enough water to stall the jeep.

Yeah I forgot my ratchet ( I was working on it last night) so when I went to pull them I was screwed. As soon as I got pulled out and when I went to start it it would catch but then sputter out and die, it got better and better every time but never enough to keep it going. It got the the point...
