    wheels n things 4 sale n free

Would you be willing to ship the hitch to San Diego, 92101? I'd include the shipping price of course. I'm assuming that will fit a 98 XJ as well since that's what I have. Chris

    Cargo area

I leave my doors on, but I had a cargo box in the rear with everything locked up and secured, about $1,000 worth of tools. I had my GPS and radio faceplate locked in a center console as well.... So the assholes just stole the whole damn Jeep. I recommend an alarm and a Pit Bull.

    STOLEN ALERT- San Diego Area

Uh,, there is a very similar one in the Coronado Cays neighborhood in Coronado. I don't know the streetname, but it's a lifted gray Rubicon with bumper and gas tank and highlift etc. It is always parked on the end of a street (sorry, don't know the name), but it might be worth checking out...

Re: Make three universal-fit XJ/MJ DIY clinometers for $2.49! Dialup, you're screwed. Do you have the CAD program you used? That's a bit over my head without the assistance of computers. Chris

    Rockin' XJ Raffle thread.

By the way, I did want to say thanks to everyone for the raffle and the whole weekend, it was a great time and my first NAXJA event. FarmerMatt, just messing with ya about the almonds, I do appreciate it though. I didn't want my sarcasm to be taken too seriously. Chris

No worries Johnny, it makes for a better joke this way! Besides, I passed them around during the raffle so everyone could get a handful. Hope you all enjoyed! Chris

Good Places to know in SD area

I retract this statement. Jeff does ok work, and he's a 'straight shooter', but sometimes he's just a dick. You often have to wait 30 minutes just to talk to him since he's running around doing other things, and just blows off the customer...even though I'm the only one in his shop. He welded on...

    Ocotilla Pics

^^^^^ LAME^^^^^^ ok, since several people have PM'd about exactly where we were, here goes. I guess it wasn't actually Ocotilla, but between Ocotilla and Jacumba, at the IN-Ko-Pah exit off of 8 East. Take that exit, take a right onto Olde Hwy 80 which leads back towards Jacumba. You go about...

    Ocotilla Pics

Well my woman was the one taking all the pictures, I don't have a single one of her! And Brandon, I thought we had some of Julie...but then I remembered she didn't get out of the jeep a single time. Nope, not once. Hmmmmmmm

    Ocotilla Pics

It was custom built by a shop in El Cajon, WELDTEC. I think it looks good, but it was welded on to the frame, which he had done before he knew any better. We're trying to figure out how to eventually mount a winch plate to it, and that will take some custom fabbing. But it's strong and it works...
