Look for person or shop knowledgeable with Renix issues

I'd start with the cheap stuff. Also, I believe it's unlikely the dist jumped a tooth, but definitely check that it's indexed correctly since it has been replaced. verify grounds are good and shiny, check the vacuum lines, inspect wiring harnesses and plug connections for wear and corrosion...

Thanks for the Input guys, I'll take a look at caster. I had been thinking alignment angles as well, I kinda just slapped the axle in there while we built the stroker up. John, I'm the same about those wheel spacers- though I didn't have any issues with the other set I was running. I figure...

Jon, Glad to hear the motor's in good shape Real curious to see how your tune changes things, I'm looking into tuning mine for economy soon. What's the curb weight of you're rig? Any chance it's just too heavy/rolling mass for these motors?

Oil companies are changing their formulations due to newer technology in today's autos and for emissions quality right? Help me out, my understanding is that the extra zinc is to protect the cam due to the high amount of force between the lifters and a flat tappet cam. Do newer autos have less...

    BigK's XJs

Broke the rings in yesterday, I still don't know how much power this thing has yet, because at 3k rpms it really wants to keep going, I'm not spending much time above that though.
