I'm just a little confused. Some threads state the 6.0 truck manifold will not clear hood. Other says swap truck for car manifold and use access. Drive off corvette. Others say corvette accesorie drive will not clear frame rail. Some say it will. I haven't seen a specific one that mentions...
A lot of threads with photos have a message where the photo should be that says please update your account to enable 3rd party hosting. How do I do that? I haven't been able to find anything under user co unless I am missing something.
Ok. I am getting ready to start buying stuff to do the swap over the winter.
For those of you that have done it what are some problems you ran into or things you would do different. I'm looking at a 6.0 swap. I have access to i think it's a 04 2500 4x4 with a 6.0.

Well they told me it was the u joints used in the front drive shaft. No one here carries spicer.
I got a moog for the bad one and I will order the spicers. After the kids fall asleep I'll change it out.
Thank you all for the info. I greatly appreciate it.
Ok I searched and maybe using the wrong search words.
I have a rcouple rear cvs drive shaft in my cherokee. One of the u joints is bad. I know it's a 1310 series.

Good to know on the wire wheel.
I have had some wheels that had enough room for me to use a dremal with a small cut off wheel on the flex shaft. I was able to cut a decent groove and usedo a cold chisel to bust the lug nut off.
Have also drilled them out to. That's the only two ways I have ever done it.
Got them cleaned up with green scotch brite and wd 40. Coated them with Teflon spray and hung them up. Now I have to build a new rack and bender stand.
Have to figure out what I have for the valve. If I had one of those internal spring return cylinders I would be good. Just don't have the Xtra...
Ok guys and gals I have a model 32 tubing bender went through a nasty divorce and my x took my tubing bender and stashed it at her boyfriends house. I went and took it back after I found where it was. Anyhow the dies have rust on them now. What's the best way to clean them. I'm not sure what...
This post saved me from going insane. About 2 months ago mine developed this awful racket on small bumps. It sounded like the suspension had so much slop the thing might fall apart.
I tightened my jams nuts on install and rechecked them after 500 miles or so. Read this post last night checked...
