    if you want the paint to stand up to rocks and gravel look into DuPont Imron 5000. Its tuff as hell and easy to shoot. No it does not come in a rattle can but it will out live your XJ.

    I would worry about the strength of that setup. I don't see any bracing to the Pseudo-fram. The only way I have made it work by running shocks into the cab is to plate the frame and make a small bed cage.     I like the patern, under high loads the case WILL flex. By running the pattern a little low the pinion will walk into the sweet spot of the gear under the load. As for the backlash I usually set it at .006

    Unibody Fail

    oh hell mine looked worse. But it took 47 hours and a 35 pound spool of mig wire to repair. Oh and 65 ' of 0.120 wall 1.75 CM 10^2ft of 0.100 CM and a lot of time with a press break. But she is now drivable and semi water tight. god speed to you
