    heater core size

    I just received a new heater core and it is thicker than the one i just took out. The new one fits in the housing, the sides are the same as the old one, it's just thicker. is it ok to use?

    I just picked up a set of black jk shocks from a 2010 unlimited sport. I measured the shock, center to center--they measure 22.5" for the rear and 21.25" for the front.     even cooler..

    make sure you have changed your coolant, thermostat, water pump....this will keep under the hood temps a little cooler... then if not satisfied you can put a switch on you electric fan to override the 218 degree sensor

    advice on shocks

    I have a 2000 xj, stock. It needs new shocks and leaf springs. I was planning on getting old man emu 2" leaf springs, and spacers for the coils in the front. Can I use jk shocks, if so which ones? or should I stick with monroes. I've read so much online I am confused. thanks

    MPG drop and rough idling

    +1 on the fuel trim--02 sensor not functioning properly and the fuel mix is rich, sending you fuel mileage tumbling...also watch your temperature gauge, if it's not getting up to operating temperature (around 210) it will burn more fuel also.
