My crowns were flat from day 1. Even worse now that work has me pulling a 6x10 cargo trailer. I can pick the tongue of the trailer up when it's fully loaded, but my jeeps hitch drops 4-6" when i hook it up...
Well, guess my gut instinct my jeep did not come with a 242 was correct. Mine has a 10-12 inch intermediate cable from tc switch to harness. Maybe i should pull it out this summer and make some spares to sell. Great info everyone!
Hate to say, but 90% of the replies have not read my OP or my replies. I appreciate replies, but not repeatedly be told to do the repairs i already have done.
Thanks for the replies all. For some reason i didn't get notifications of your posts till today, damn tapatalk.
To reply-
Oil filter adapter was already redone last fall
Ccv system was all cleaned and replaced last year.
The blue dowel pins now come with the fel-pro 1 piece oil pan gasket...

My first instinct tells me to check the wire on the radio for lights. There should be a wire to turn display on/up when lights are on. Next would be grounds and power feeds. Something is obviously not spliced in right. Pull the stereo and check it over.
With aluminum i always antisieze the backside. I had one on my dodge that i beat on with a 8' 4x4 for over 3 hours before it let loose. Can just imagine what the neighbors were thinking~
Couldn't find those irwin ones, so i went with craftsman.

Little more expensive, but i am sure i will use them again.
The nut under the cap was already stripped. I am really wished i had replaced them all with normal lug nuts when i bought it, as well as junking these aluminum rims. Had some many years ago, and swore i would never use them again. If i didn't have the matching spare i would have. Time to...
So, aluminum honeycombs with those stupid &(;()&&&(;($&&;;)$&)( stock lug nuts that have the metal over them. Cap came off and the nut underneath is stripped, WTF! I just had them off 2 weeks ago when i redid the back brakes. I am so damn pissed right now. I am crawling in water and slop...
