Found an ax15 finally. Now I just need to get a 23 spline input for the 231 or find a 231 for an ax15. Wish me luck yall

The tranny I just put in started making the midgets with hammers noise in 1,2,3, and reverse. Not 4 or 5. (Also idle)

May go the same route if I have to. For now, I did some black magic voodoo wizardry to get it going again
