want a better rack (hehehe he said rack)

Yakima racks use a round crossbar - Thule uses a square... Each system can either be attached directly to the gutter (Thule 300 towers, Yakima 1a raingutter) or directly to the factory installed rack using (thule 430 towers, or Yakima control towers) - The best option for strength is to utilize...

    rear leaf upgrade q's

I'm looking for some input on a rear leaf upgrade to improve my current situation. I'm running about 3" leafs with roughly a 3" block made with two blocks to gain my rear 6" of lift - no drop shackles. I know this is not the best setup and I'm looking to improve on it for more flex and a...

    Anyone recognise this hitch??

Draw-Tite and Hidden Hitch are the same company... same hitch. Hidden Hitch does not mean the hitch is hidden - the departure angle might better on some. A class 3 hitch should have four bolts per side with appropriate frame plates for added strength. Just my 2 cents.

Rear fenders chop is done *pics*

Re: Rear fenders chop I recently read the post on bushwacker flares. I installed them myself in a rush to make my rig legal. At any rate, I cut the pinch seam of the unibody and have yet to fix it - there is lots of the seam cut on both rears - this has given me tons of clearance for 33's...

    will it ever get better?

I, like all in this forum, are probably a little biased on the advice we can give you about switching to a TJ. Dont do it!! Yes, the TJ out of the box has more off-road guts... however, the whole underside of a TJ (huge generalization) is built extremely weak for the weight of the vehicle - A...
