Lol Being that I run a body shop and have seen lots of accidents I am not 100% sold that the TB didnt break during the rollover. Guess Im going to try and fab something up.
Yea Yea Yea... Rustys haters.. I know. Ive run rustys on many different jeeps for years with no problems. But everyone has problems. I guess I will take some measurements tonight and see what I can find. I was under the impression that when the rustys TB failed it was the threaded joint that...
There is no kink in the bar, Its just the lighting in the garage. I'm running the Rustys drop TB bracket too. I thought that thing looked weird. Anyone recommend a good TB that will work with the rustys DB? Oh well at least it rolled out of the garage:)
Thanks ill check that out this morning. If I switch the #2 and #3 plug wires it seems to want to run even more than when correctly wired!! What in the world!
Ok I bought this 88 mj cheap from a guy. It was already taken apart when I picked it up. He thaught that it had jumped timing.
2.5l.
The timing cover was off and I verified that the timing gears and chain were installed correctly.
At TDC the rotor points to the #1 Wire
Used a Timing light and #1...
Any body have a quick fix or a write up on how to do this swap? As far as i can tell the brackets are non compatable. I guess i could weld something up but that is not my first choice. The new seats are out of a 2000 and they are going into a 1991. Both are manual.
Thanks
Man if a rusted jeep can take that kind of abuse they need to send that in to the rust police over there. There was no way that thing was coming apart going down any road.
Thanks that was what I was looking for. It works sometimes but mostly it does not. My woman likes the heated seats, as for me I am always hot. As for the jeep they dont build them like they used to. I bought it off the salvage auction for $3700. 2001 Limited, leather fully loaded. 40k. Still...
Ok so my 01' Limited has heated front seats. Drivers side works great. Passenger side does not work. I just get the blinking light when the switch is pressed. Do i have a bad relay or something thanks!
my buddy ran a 150 shot on his 93 at the track for quite some time. It was pretty funny watching a 4wd brick launch in 4wd and out run s2000's. Saddy its end was a head on collision.
2wd cherokee, 4.2L stroker motor, Police suspension, police tranny upgrades, and a 125 shot of nos. I bet that would beat a lot of cars out there today.
