I tried painting a bike with real nice paint when it was 50° once. Looked like the bike had fish scales when it dried. It was the worst paint job I've ever seen or done.
I'm trying to do the same thing because some jack hole sold me a 2.5L TB instead of a 4.0L. I noticed the IAC was different. Whether they work the same or not is beyong me but they look different anyway.
Well everything they say is semi-true. Of course it's also true for just about any straight through performance muffler like Dyno said. The only difference I can see if the temperature would be slightly lower because it can't bounce around like a normal muffler would allow. It would also be...
Well the biggest problem I see with the Liberty axle conversion is the liberty only runs 3.73 or 4.10 gears. No 3.55 so unless you've got a 4 cyl or 2wd you'll have to regear one of the axles and that shoots out the whole easy/direct swap.
I heard that the ford injectors use 4 small holes to spray the fuel through instead of jeeps one hole. Wouldn't this lead to a slighty better combustion so better economy? Just wondering
Well if you can't get your rotors replaced on recall then go to www.jcwhitney.com . They have cast rotors for around $20-$25 a piece and pads are around $30. That's teh best deal I've ever seen but check local parts stores too.
Do you know if that alternator fits all year cherokees? I have a 91 and was wondering if it would be as easy as that writeup says it is.
I already screwed myself with the ford taurus fan in a cherokee because wrangler and grand cherokee guys said it was quick and easy. I don't wanna do...
I really prefer the magnaflow mufflers myself. I'm pretty sure they're much like the Ultraflo welded mufflers from dynomax that junkjeep was talking about. You can get a magnaflow on ebay for around $50-$60 (buy it now) through a couple different guys. I bought mine from "performance-curve" or...
Well I think he was talking about the new 62mm plate that he made isn't working right.
Just a quick question. Is the jeep warmed up when it's idling around 900rpms? It would be around 900-1000rpms if it's still kind of cool. Also did you reset the ECU when you installed the new throttle body...
I broke one of my Hella 500 lens. If someone else has done this and has one laying around or would be willing to sell both I would be interested in buying them. It costs half the package price to get one new lens so screw Hella and I'm trying elsewhere. PM me if you have one.
The doestch shocks don't come with boots as far as I know. But if you think about it, all shocks have wipers to push all that junk out of the way so it can't enter the shock system. Even $200 mountain bikes have this feature. If they aren't sealed they aren't any good anyway. I mean if you...
Ok I know you want the subs close to you but what about in the rear panel. Here's mine.
www.geocities.com/jfw432/sub.htm
and here's a link on the whole procedure.

Yeah it's normal to rev like that. If it really bothers you then you could clean the IAC and run a thicker oil and it would probably make a difference. If you clean the IAC you'll notice a huge difference the next time you start the engine. After I cleaned my 91's it started up at around 3000...
Well I may not have the Trxus MT but I am running a 31" tire and I pump them to around 35 psi on the road. Mine don't have recommended pressure they just have 50 psi as maximum pressure. My tires still have tons of tread on the ground so I don't think that's too much pressure.
This may sound a little far fetched but what about the idea of having the box legs fold out like the stretchers for an ambulance. Then it really wouldn't matter how much junk you've got in it because it just rolls out. You would probably need help moving it through sand but it's better than...
