grind the broke off one flat, drill out and tap to a larger size.

un bolt the track bar and shocks. then put the spring in place (as far in as you can) and use a big dang pry bar the pop the bottom of the spring over the botton spring seat. Very quick and easy. We do the all that way at our shop.

I have an 85 with the 2.5 and a 4" with 31X10.5 and it is a good combo. The gear swap is realy needed but you can get by untill the swap. I motor swap is a tough one go with gears.

I called rusty’s this morning and he told me I had to get the parts from Tom Wood’s. So I don’t know at this point I keep getting different answers everywhere I go.

My manual calls it a constant velocity shaft but what’s on there is not a double cardan shaft. That’s what in trying to put on there. I have the yoke and shaft off a newer model but I don’t know if it will work.

I have a 1" TC drop. where do I get the other parts ?

I do not have an SYE installed. It is all stock outhe than the lift.

No sorry its the front shaft. On the first two years of the cherokee production, the front shaft did not have a double cardan joint. The later models did and I have one of them.
