It is my understanding that the Non-Disco DANA 30 HP XJ's that came with the NP242 used the 5-297 joints. I am working on an '89 with that setup, and Im about to order up parts from RockAuto.. and I dont want to end up with a return from Canada. Is the 5-297 the right joint?

I recently had tO do a head gasket due to an overheating. Now I notice a wet spot that comes and goes on the manifold side of the engine right under the front most exhaust port on the block. It's in the area where bolt 11 goes into the block. Is it possible the block is cracked?

I have just swapped in some stronger TJ D30 Shafts, I had to remove the TJ Hub's, and swap on the XJ hubs. After Tq'ing them to the 175 Ft-Lb They seems to be seized. I stuck a screw driver in the slot of the rotor and gave it a good tug, and everything seemed to free up. Is this normal?
