    Dammit dammit dammit

Just got the Jury Duty notice for October 7 - and I already begged off a 6-month postponement when they tried to kill my vacation in the spring. Gotta phone in to the automated message to see if I can even leave town. If worst comes to worst, there is plenty of time to do up a homemade "Let's...

    Coordination of trails for Moab

Rim There is no harm in double-scheduling some of the best/popular trails - for example, if the Gold Bar Rim is offered opposite another trail, we could always hit it with another group another day. This would also ease the congestion, and its impossible to be social to a huge group anyway...

    Who is going when where?

Ride back Wie geht es dir? I can get you back to the airport, no worries. To get a reasonable flight, you might consider connecting through Chicago (ORD) as United/Lufthansa run many more flights through there. DEN to ORD typically departs midmorning and arrives just past noon, Chicago time...

    Another one everyone should read

Yeah Grant, I've seen his abbreviated video of Indy about 6 times now. It makes me want to keep spectating down there...be more than happy to take pictures of you down there tho' Small group or large, I would still be very wary going up something that is bone-dry, woodsy, popular, and with no...

    Another one everyone should read

Does this mean I don't have until Moab to get everything operational? Why not add the Indy trails in as a pre-Blanca. I volunteer Led to lead down the waterfalls... Good leadership Bones - safety first!

    y'all ain't gunna' believe it.....

People are no damn good I'm sure she had a 'troubled childhood' and didn't recieve enough hugs in the last year. A firm slap on the wrist will be sure to send the message that its okay to F-up as long as you don't mean to cause any harm. It's not like this was a toddler playing with...

    Fire news

This is one to watch, it might be a while before they reopen acess even after the fire is "out". No telling what other areas (and the trails therein) might be next. And re-opening assumes that the trail itself wasn't burned, that may take years (if ever) to come back...

    Few Questions about Trip!

And it burns, burns, burns... Dave is right on with this - even if the forests are open, everyone needs to carefully consider the risk of being on a trail with the real possibility of a fire closing in. There would be no place of safety to go to, and no time in which to do so. Dry conditions...
